Sweetie (Sweet Pea) our PWD

Sweetie: April 2000 - July 2011.
Yesterday, we sadly put down our Portuguese Water Dog, Sweetie. We'd like to think that she is now playing with Monty her Golden Retriever buddy (who predeceased her 6 months ago), as they did when they were in their prime.

Comfort, couches, and being up high (even getting onto counters, the fridge & into the oven door - until I installed child locks!).




And she loved swimming, in the pool, at the beach, or in a kiddie pool









When she was young, she thought she was a flower & curled up in pots. Water me & I'll grow!



Walks were great anytime of year! Especially in winter when you have your coats & boots on!








Or when you are dressed-up for special occasions.






She liked school & was a graduate...



Beds, loungers, and chairs were good to curl up on...









She enjoyed company when they came calling...






She adored Monty...






And tolerated the new kid, Precious, even though she was sick & hurting at the end.
